Setel joins WaterFrontLab
We are proud to announce our membership of the WaterFrontLab association (WaterFrontLab – The meeting platform for the enhancement and protection of the coasts), which deals with the Protection, Enhancement and Governance of the coasts.
This step represents an important networking opportunity aimed at our R&D activities.
Our innovative autonomous amphibious rover MAR (Multipurpose Amphibious Rover), capable of moving from land to water without the need to change configuration, finds its right place in the field of protection of the marine and coastal environment as the vehicle can carry out surveillance, monitoring and intervention in coastal areas.
Thanks to its advanced technology, the rover can explore and protect the most delicate areas of our ecosystem, contributing to the collection of crucial data for coastal conservation.

- Collaboration: Joining forces with WFL associates allows us to discuss and work together with industry experts to develop innovative and sustainable ideas and solutions.

Codeway Expo | 15-17 May 2024 | Rome
From 15 to 17 May SeTeL is present at CODEWAY EXPO 2024, the international fair dedicated to the role of the private sector in the new scenarios of development cooperation, held at the Fiera di Roma.
The objective of CODEWAY EXPO is the promotion and support of responsible business actions, providing stimulus tools to businesses, both public and private, and promoting international development cooperation by bringing together the most important players in the world.
CODEWAY EXPO collaborates with THEA – The European House Ambrosetti, scientific partner of the event, and with CNR, which will propose innovative products and solutions already usable by companies for the development of sustainable projects and operations.
L’Importanza della Rendicontazione nei Progetti Finanziati | 2024
It was an opportunity to focus on reporting thanks to the experts from Lazio Innova, Fabio Panci and Sonia D’Ubaldi, and to present some of the projects that won the tender.
Valentina Pistillo was present for us and illustrated the ECOMAR Project “Fast Deployment Early Warning Environmental System” acquired together with FAAL, Esseodue, Roma 3 University.
KOM of the Ecomar Project | January 12, 2024
The KOM of the ECOMAR Project (Fast Deployment Early Warning Environmental System) took place on 12 January 2024 in the University of Studies of Roma Tre.
The interdisciplinary project combines an amphibious marine vehicle (our SeTeL – MAR (Multipurpose Amphibious Rover), with early warning techniques for observing the marine environment. It is a project in line with the trajectory of the Sea Economy Specialization Area of the RIS3 called “Development of Early Warning Systems” reported by the Lazio Region as of priority interest.
The project involves SeTeL – Servizi Tecnici Logistics s.r.l. in the redesign and creation of the new marine Rover by integrating the appropriate components and sensors; various departments of Roma Tre University will be involved in research, design and small-scale prototyping of the components necessary to adapt the agricultural Rover to the marine environment and make it suitable for the early warning and fast deployment mission; ESSEODUE srl will deal with the definition and design of the chemical-physical-biological analysis methodology for early warning purposes; FAAL BATTERIE SRL will deal with the study, analysis and design of the optimal system for energy storage via batteries.

In fact these can be adapted, integrated and applied to drive innovation and growth in various terrestrial markets such as transportation, agriculture, healthcare, telecommunications and more. With the experts of its R&D department, SeTeL will bring its contribution to the expoforum, reporting the experiences of its research projects, such as the recent MAR.

SeTeL is pleased to participate in the 8th edition of Technology for All, the annual Forum on technologies for the environment, cultural heritage and smart cities. The appointment includes the partecipation of our experts who will present the amphibious version of MAR, for monitoring, inspection and sampling activities of the critical infrastructures of water networks and basins. We will also talk about its fast-deployment and early warning characteristics.
